WebJul 26, 2009 · We are fairly new to raising rabbits but I always weigh them after they are dreesed out & so far they all have ranged in weight from 2 1/2 pounds to 3 pounds & dh usually butchers them between 12 & 13 weeks. I've tried a couple recipes from the recipe sticky here & so far we have liked each one I've made. He seems quite large for his age to be a mini lop so i wanted to know the normal weight. At 12 weeks of age he weighed in at 900g and at 16 weeks is 1.1kg. Am i dealing with a Mini lop or a dwarf?
