It has the silky slip and detangling ease, as well as comparable cleaning power (they both have Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate as the main cleanser), but that's where comparisons end. I two string twisted my hair and rolled it up on flex rods and the curls last two weeks. The moisture and scent is great. I would recommend this product for anyone to try. I am loving my hair.
