WebJul 5, 2024 · We experimentally observed an ultrahigh thermal conductivity of 1300 W/m·K at room temperature in synthetic high-quality single-crystal BAs. Our study verifies the prediction from ab initio theory and establishes BAs as a benchmark material with the highest isotropic thermal conductivity of bulk metals and semiconductors.
